BECAUSE ON….
November 26, 2014 Governor-Elect Gina Raimondo attended the American Ireland Fund Dinner held at the Westin Waterfront Boston Hotel where this picture with James Skeffington was taken, and published in the Boston Globe.

Only 2 days later, On November 28th 2014 The Boston Globe Reported – “Some Red Sox owners poised to purchase PawSox”

On this same day, November 28th 2014 The Providence Journal also Reported – “PawSox being sold to some Red Sox owners”
Reports: By News staff Posted Nov. 28, 2014 @ 9:57 am
The  Pawtucket Red Sox may be sold to part of the Red Sox ownership group, according to published reports. The Boston Globe is reporting that the sale price is not yet known, nor are the names of the owners purchasing the storied minor league franchise. http://www.providencejournal.com/article/20141128/Sports/311289964

NOW…. On or about February 2, 2015, in an interview with Reporter/Radio Host Gene Valicenti, Gov. Gina Raimondo when asked ‘on tape’ if she knew or had previously spoken with the current PawSox owners about their plans, she said – ‘NO’.

BUT WAIT A MINUTE….
Her answer seems to contradict what James Skeffington told Gene Valicenti when asked the same question, also recorded ‘on tape’, when he said – ‘YES’, HE HAD PREVIOUSLY TALKED WITH GOV. RAIMONDO ABOUT THE PROPOSAL, SHORTLY AFTER THE ELECTION, BUT PRIOR TO SIGNING THE PURCHASE & SALE AGREEMENT.’

SO….
If we are to believe Gov. Raimondo, then we must also believe that when she attended the American Ireland Fund Dinner with James Skeffington, they never spoke (about it).
However, If we are to believe James Skeffington’s statement – which ironically also concurs nicely with the date they were photographed together at the Boston Party, then the only remaining question is;

IF….
A picture is worth a thousands words… how much is a lie worth? And better yet, for WHO & WHY?
